Step into the world of a color creator! In this weeklong, explorers will go beyond the rainbow to discover how colors behave. We will experiment with "The Mixing Bar," explore liquid watercolors, and create process paintings. It’s messy, magical, and all about the process of discovering color.

Big Building Workshop

If you can dream it, you can build it. This week is all about 3D thinking. Using a buffet of recycled materials, cardboard engineering, and specialized tapes, Explorers will learn how to make their ideas stand up and stand out. From gnome habitats to futuristic cities, the only limit is the ceiling!

An advanced deep-dive into the behavior of light and color. Makers will move past basic painting to explore color theory, value scales, and sophisticated mixing. 3D Lab

Architecture meets artistry. In this lab, we tackle the challenges of balance, weight, and "The Attachment Choice." Scholars will use wire armatures, wood, and advanced cardboard construction to create sophisticated sculptures. This week is perfect for the artist who likes to think like an engineer.

Experience the studio as a professional designer. We will explore the structural side of fibers, including loom weaving, basic embroidery, and upcycled fashion. Makers will learn to warp their own looms and manipulate fabric to create functional art and complex soft sculptures.
